Teaching Assistant - SEND in EYFS and KS1

Fixed term contract to end 31/08/2026

Grade D - 15,972 to 16,225 pro-rated, per annum.

27.5 hours per week / Term time only (38 weeks per year)

The Opportunity



We are looking for a skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the academy and contributing to an environment where every pupil can thrive. This post will include working closely with our higher needs SEND children in the lower school. Whether in administration, operations, pastoral support, or specialist services, your work will directly support our mission to deliver the best possible education.

About You



Experience of SEND and EYFS/KS1 would be desirable English and Maths qualifications to Level 2 (GCSE A-C), or equivalent. Teaching Assistant Qualification, or equivalent Experience of working in an education setting and children of a relevant age. Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding regulations. Ability to communicate effectively with both adults and children, of all abilities. Ability to engage with and motivate children. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
