TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 KS1/KS2 - Required as soon as possible Fixed Term until 31 August 2026

Band 3 pt. 6 - 11 (25,989-28,142) pro rata - Salary 22,354 (Actual)

36.25 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 3:25pm, term-time plus INSET days (39 weeks)

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Assistant Level 2 at Bowdon Church School, Grange Road, Bowdon, Cheshire WA14 3EX.


The Governors of Bowdon Church School wish to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working, lively and successful team.

We would welcome applications from candidates who:

Have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working with &/or caring for children within specified age range/learning need and/or NVQ2 or equivalent in teaching assistance


Have experience in supporting a child with autism, physical needs, dyslexia, ADHD, etc.


Have experience of teaching groups of children, with high expectations of all


Have a caring nature and are willing to promote the Christian Values of the school


Are willing to support all aspects of school life
