Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teaching/behaviour assistant to work in our restorative education provisions.

The successful applicant will work within the team of the River Bourne Edge and River Bourne Farm, supporting students from primary through to post 16.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, term time only. The salary shown is

Some of the Responsibilities

Support and implement a curriculum that engages all students e.g. themed approach

Assist in delivering individual and group learning activities tailored to students with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural needs.

Plan and support the re-integration of students back into mainstream education, where appropriate

Monitor and evaluate the progress of students in the provision

Provide guidance and support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals

Ensure all safeguarding procedures are always followed

Skills:

Be experienced in working with students with challenging needs Have a good understanding of restorative practices or be willing to learn Strong educational background with the ability to educate and engage students effectively Ability to use technology effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities Ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience in safeguarding children in education
