This primary school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Teaching Assistant

The Role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will:

Work collaboratively with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development. Promote independence, self-esteem, and inclusion for all children. Provide tailored support to individuals and groups, including children with SEND. Help prepare learning environments and contribute to planning and assessment. Support behaviour management and promote a safe, positive atmosphere. Take part in wider school life, including extracurricular and enrichment activities.
This is a full-time, term-time only position. The successful candidate may be required to support learning in class/es, on a one-to-one basis, or in small group interventions.

What We're Looking For

Has experience working with children or in an educational setting. Demonstrates empathy, flexibility, and a commitment to inclusion. Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues. Has good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills. Understands the importance of safeguarding and professional conduct. Is enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to make a difference.

Qualifications

Minimum of GCSE Grade 4 (C) in English and Maths (or equivalent). First Aid training is desirable (or willingness to complete it).
