As a Teaching Assistant Tutor , you will guide adult learners through their qualifications, such as our Level 2 programme in support work in schools, giving them the practical skills and knowledge for a career in education. Your Role in Practice:


A Typical Week at Think Employment



Blend live online lessons via Zoom with dynamic in-person sessions in one of our centres. Mentor a caseload of 60-80 adult learners, deliver tailored support as they achieve NCFE Level 2 qualifications in Support Work in Schools and Colleges, Personal Development for Employability, and Caring for Children and Young People. Deliver training on

educational support principles,

conduct personalised progress reviews, and provide constructive feedback on learner assessments.

What You'll Be Doing:



Deliver Engaging Educational Training:

You will facilitate high-quality online and in-person sessions on school support, creating an interactive learning environment that builds learners' confidence and practical knowledge for classroom settings.
Guide Personalised Learner Development:

You will manage your learner caseload by conducting initial assessments, developing individual learning plans, and providing continuous support to ensure every learner achieves their qualification and career goals in educational support.
Champion safeguarding and educational excellence:

Track learner progress, maintain accurate records

in our CRM, and

actively promote safeguarding

, Prevent, and inclusive teaching practices throughout the learning journey.
Enhance our school support curriculum:

Apply your sector expertise to develop and update learning resources, keeping our

teaching assistant programs

current, effective, and aligned with educational standards and Ofsted requirements.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:



Expertise in children's education and practical understanding of strategies for supporting individuals. Level 2 qualifications in English, Maths, and ICT. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to learner success. Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, and diversity principles within an educational context.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:



A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, CET, DET) or equivalent. Experience delivering qualifications related to Support Work in Schools. An assessor qualification (e.g., A1). Familiarity with adult learner funding processes and quality frameworks.

Salary: 26,000 - 29,000. Hybrid working model. 25 days holiday + bank holidays (option to buy more). One additional paid Life Event Day and one paid Volunteering Day each year.
