We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated

Teaching Assistant

to join our team in Urmston. Working closely with teachers and pupils, you will play a key role in supporting learning, promoting inclusion, and creating a positive classroom environment.

Working Pattern:

Three days a week between Monday to Friday, Term Time

Salary:

Up to 12.21 per hour

Your responsibilities will include:

Establishing rapport and positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations. Providing tailored support to pupils, including those with additional needs, to ensure access to learning. Supervising pupils and ensuring their safety, welfare, and personal care needs are met. Promoting inclusion, teamwork, and participation in classroom activities. Encouraging pupils' independence, confidence, and self-esteem. Supporting teaching staff by preparing resources, evaluating learning, and providing feedback on pupil progress in line with school policy. Liaising with teachers, parents, and external agencies where appropriate. Occasionally providing cover supervision for the teacher when required.

Demonstrate a high level of personal and professional commitment. Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm. Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
