(Temporary for 1 Year from September 2025)



We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working school team. Duties will include working with whole classes, small groups, 1:1 support and supporting children with additional needs. Is familiar with or willing to learn EYFS and KS1 Curriculums. The post also involves lunchtime playground support each day.



The post is temporary to start from 1st September 2025 for 1 year fixed term (inc. 2 Inset Days) (Potential to become permanent for the right candidate - 6 month Probationary period)



The posts and the associated hours are as follows:



Monday - Friday - (30 hours per week - 8.30am - 15.00pm to include half an hour a day lunchtime playground support)



We are looking for professionals who:


Has a patient and caring nature Can support children in their curriculum learning Is able to implement interventions as recommended by external agencies (any required training will be given) Is able to support children in both a whole class setting and in small groups or 1:1 situations Is able to support children over the lunchtime period as and when required both in the dining room and on the playground Is skilled in supporting children's personal, social and emotional needs Is skilled in positive behavior management strategies Has experience evidencing children's progress and feeding this back to colleagues, Parents and other professionals Has high aspirations for, and expectations of, our children Has a relevant teaching assistant qualification at a minimum of level 2 Has excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills Understands Safeguarding and confidentiality expectations Is committed to their own continuing professional development and willing to attend all relevant training as required by the school Is committed to making a positive difference to children's learning and wellbeing Is willing and able to support children's personal care needs including toileting and administration of medicines when necessary Would relish the opportunity to work as part of our friendly, highly talented and motivated team Is willing to be involved in the wider life of the school
