Vacancy for Teaching Assistant at Rendlesham Primary School

Days:

Monday to Friday

Times:

7.45am -15.15pm this includes breakfast club, (45 minute unpaid lunch)

Hours:

33.75 hours per week, permanent contract

Salary:

Starting point 4 13.21 per hour (but depending on experience)

Details:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and skilled TA to join Rendlesham Primary Schooland help us provide the best education and experience possible for our pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage and across KS1 and LKS2. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Early Years and working with pupils with Special Educational Needs. Part of this role is to support all our pupils in Breakfast Club from 7.45am to 8.30am.

Requirements

: We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

Can follow plans and work on their own initiative.

Is capable of taking responsibility for small groups.

Can communicate clearly with children and adults, verbally and in writing.

Is able to support a range of abilities including pupils with SEND

Can work both with a small group and on a 1:1 basis with pupils.

Can contribute to assessments.

Has a willingness to contribute to the general smooth running of our school.

Able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines

Able to maintain confidentiality

Is confident in supporting good behaviour and management skills

Has a desire to participate in school and Trust CPD opportunities;

Has an awareness of Safeguarding,

Qualifications:

Essential: Grade C /4+ level Numeracy and Literacy;Essential: Has a basic level of computer literacy;Essential: Early Years Level 3 Qualification

: Monday 3rd November 2025 or as soon as possible
