Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will work as part of a small, skilled team to support children with their learning, communication and personal development. You will promote positive behaviour, encourage independence and help young people engage in structured and fun activities both in the home and community.
Main Responsibilities
Support children with learning, communication and social interaction
Help deliver individual education and care plans
Encourage positive routines and promote independence
Record and report daily progress and observations
Support children with daily living tasks, personal care and sensory activities
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (school or care setting)
Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, Childcare or Teaching Assistant (or willing to work towards)
Driving licence - required
Kind, patient and proactive approach
