About The Team:
Historically, SRUC is an agricultural college, with over a century of heritage and experience.
The Agriculture team are based at Barony Campus delivery spanning tertiary education from schools, Work Based learning, NC, HN and Degree.
They teach students about every element of the food production chain, developing skills that can be used both on farm and also in the wider service agri-food industries.
The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity have arisen to work as part of the Agriculture Programme Team, managed by the Agriculture Programme Leader and based at the Barony Campus in Dumfries.
This post will be primarily involved in the delivery of the Agriculture programmes:
FE - NC
HE -HNC/HND BSc and BSc (Honours) Agriculture
Scope of the Post:
Teaching of general Agriculture mainly covering subjects associated with cropping
Contribute to student recruitment activity in Barony.
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be educated to SCQF Level 9 or above, in a relevant Agriculture subject.
