The Role:
The University of Portsmouth has a history of teaching and research in clinical and practice-based subjects and is expanding academic development in new and emerging health and social care fields and roles. We are committed to providing the students on our courses with a sound knowledge and evidence base that will prepare them to be safe and effective practitioners. We have a commitment to innovative learning methodologies, supported by superb simulation resources.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working within an educational role and/or a mentorship/practice facilitation role with a demonstrable history of supporting/teaching student Radiographers. You will need to demonstrate a track record of engaging in evidence-based practice.
The successful applicant will be encouraged to participate in activities across the Faculty of Science and Health and with external partners in Health, Social Care and Higher Education organisations.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to give a short presentation followed by a formal interview. The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 26 November 2025.
Fixed term contract until 31 July 2026 (or the earlier return of the substantive post holder) to cover a period of maternity leave.
