About the role
The at is looking for a teaching practitioner to teach on our practical photography courses for learners on our . As Teaching Fellow in Practical Photography, you will design and deliver an innovative and engaging course, which should cover a variety of different approaches to photography using a DSLR camera, including using the equipment effectively, choosing and composing subject matter, and editing and presentation skills. You should be able to present these practical skills in the context of the history and aesthetics of photography to novice learners from a variety of backgrounds.
What you would be doing
In this role you will devise and deliver face-to-face learning sessions to adult education learners from a variety of backgrounds. You should have the ability to explain and demonstrate the use of DSLR photography technology, and where appropriate photograph-editing software, in a way that is sensitive to the wide range of experiences adult learners bring to the classes. You will make use of appropriate interactive and inclusive activities designed to maintain high levels of learner interest and motivation. You will be expected to be pro-active in the delivery of the course, engaging with the learners on their educational journey.
