This includes managing a dedicated team, optimising operational processes, and ensuring a high-quality experience for both students and staff. With a central role in departmental teaching strategy and regular engagement with senior academic and university-wide stakeholders, the post holder will be instrumental in shaping the delivery of our undergraduate programmes.

What you would be doing

As Teaching Operations Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our undergraduate programmes. Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing and improving operational processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of undergraduate support. Coordinating key departmental teaching activities such as curriculum reviews, exam administration, and committee engagement. Managing student data systems, teaching timetables, and learning resources, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across departments. Acting as the main point of contact for escalated queries from staff and students, and ensuring compliance with College policies, visa requirements, and data protection. Collaborating with central teams to align departmental processes with university-wide initiatives, contributing to strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

You must have experience of using and developing virtual learning environments. You must have staff management experience and a proven ability to contribute to and lead change in the workplace. Awareness of data protection guidelines and an understanding of the complexities involved in the management of confidential and sensitive information is essential.

What we can offer you

The opportunity to be part of a Departmental management team, with strategic responsibility. A varied and exciting workload, with visibility in central teams and the opportunity to engage in College discussions and activities.
