An exciting opportunity has arisen within Primary Care Dental services in the role of Operations Manager. This post will be responsible for dental services within Restorative Dentistry, Dental Teaching Unit and Single Point of Access.
This is a managerial post within SBU Health Board Primary Care Dental Team which includes working with the Clinical Leads and Senior Team Members and on own initiative in:
The delivery of timely, safe, efficient and effective patient care in Restorative Dentistry.
Dental Teaching Unit and Dental Single Point of Access (Dental Services).
Operationally managing the maintenance and contract budgets in accordance with Health Board policies and current best practices and ensuring that all opportunities for the continuous development and improvement of the service are considered and pursued if appropriate.
Taking overall responsibility for the line management of the senior dental nurse and dental teams.
Provides professional guidance and leadership for all Dental Nurses within the areas of responsibility to promote best practice and the delivery of a high-quality service to all patient groups.
Assist in the management of joint working with SBUHB's General Dental Services and Community Dental Services Morriston Hospital (Head and Neck), Primary Care Management Team and other agencies to ensure the integration and development of Dental Services within SBUHB.
