Harris City Academy Crystal Palace Teaching School Hub delivers the golden thread of professional leaning for teachers and leaders across Croydon, Sutton and Epsom and Ewell. Due to the growth and expansion of the Teaching School Hub we are seeking an outstanding Administrator to work with us. Harris City Academy Crystal Palace Teaching School Hub is one of just 87 hubs in England to be appointed as part of the DfE\'s new programme designed to create school-led centres of excellence.

About Us

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace is a mixed Academy for 1,300 students aged 11-18, with a large sixth form of nearly 400 students. The Academy has three consecutive Outstanding judgments by Ofsted, with the most recent inspection in 2014 finding the Academy to be Outstanding in every aspect. We are a consistently high performing school. Main Areas of Responsibility

The purpose of your role will be to have administrative responsibility for the Harris Federation and Teaching School Hubs Early Career Framework Regional Programmes and Appropriate Body Services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking and maintain the Teaching School Hub and Appropriate Body e-mail Inbox
  • Onboarding Early Career Teachers & Mentors to our ECF Programme
  • Off-rolling participants using Teaching School Hub processes
  • Using Microsoft Teams to communicate with Lead Providers
  • Maintaining accurate records of ECTs & Mentors on our programmes
  • Maintaining accurate School data to include the Induction Tutor and Headteacher details
  • Collating and recording ECF webinar and live event attendance
  • Collating ECT and Mentor engagement data
  • Liaising with ECF cluster Facilitators to collect attendance data
  • Producing reports on ECF data
  • Sending out e-mail communications, including the ECF weekly bulletin
  • Supporting with ECT Conference planning and organisation
  • Supporting the ECF Regional Managers with recruitment marketing campaigns
  • Attending administrative update meetings
  • Onboarding schools and ECTs to the Hub Appropriate Body
  • Collating and maintaining accurate records for Appropriate Body services of schools, ECTs and Induction Tutors
  • Maintaining records and files using the ECT Manager database
  • Following up with schools where observations, reports and assessments have not been completed in a timely way
  • Uploading and maintaining Appropriate Body records on the Teacher Regulation Agency database
  • Liaising with schools on Appropriate Body visits
  • Liaising with schools and keeping records of ECTs on Support Plans, Cause for Concern and Risk of Failure
  • Providing administration support for CPD Programmes
  • Updating the Teaching School Hub website as required
Qualifications & Experience

We would like to hear from you if you have:
  • Qualifications to degree level.
  • Experience in the use of Excel and managing high volumes of data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and competency with a range of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Teams.
