Lead Receptionist

What You'll Lead



Head the Reception Experience



Lead and mentor the reception team to deliver consistently exceptional patient service Serve as the primary point of contact, creating outstanding first impressions for new and existing patients Manage complex appointment scheduling for multiple clinicians and treatment types Handle patient enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and commercial awareness

Drive Administrative Excellence



Master Software for Excellence (formerly Exact) practice management system or demonstrate ability to learn quickly Maintain accurate patient records, treatment schedules, and administrative databases Process patient payments, insurance claims, and financial arrangements with precision Coordinate seamlessly with clinical and treatment coordination teams

Optimise Practice Operations



Implement and maintain efficient reception procedures and protocols Support practice growth through excellent patient retention and referral generation Manage reception supplies, resources, and day-to-day operational requirements Provide administrative support to Practice Manager and clinical teams as needed

The Ideal Candidate



Essential Requirements:



Proven reception or administrative experience

in healthcare, dental, or premium service environments

Exceptional organisational skills

with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

Outstanding communication abilities

Leadership potential

with experience mentoring or managing small teams

Technical aptitude

- comfortable with Software for Excellence or ability to learn dental practice software quickly
