29,250 (15 per hour

) on a 37.5 hour per week contract

As a Team Leader, you will lead a team of support workers to deliver person-centred support to individuals with a learning disability, that may display behaviours of distress and complex needs.

What the role involves

Creating a safe, inclusive and person centred environment. Guiding and developing our Support Workers through regular supervisions. Managing rotas to make sure staffing levels are safe and covered. Supporting and updating care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour plans. Building relationships with the people we support and their support networks. Working with our HR and recruitment teams to meet the needs of the service. Keeping our service manager updated with regular communication. Supporting compliance by following policies, procedures, and regulations. Completing compliance checks with guidance from our service manager.

Courageous and conduct difficult conversations. Calm, resilient, and able to remain positive when things get challenging. Has knowledge of health & safety and safeguarding procedures. Experienced in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of distress in a health and social care setting. A holder of (or is happy to work towards) a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care.
