We're now looking for a dedicated and hands-on Team Leader to join our operations team and help ensure every project runs to the highest standard.

The Role



As a Team Leader, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of retail and event projects from concept to completion.

This is a fully on-site role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. You'll work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to make sure each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and on-brand.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Delivery



Lead day-to-day operations across multiple retail and event projects. Manage project schedules, logistics, and resources to meet tight deadlines. Oversee event setup, installation, and de-rig processes. Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

Team Leadership



Line-manage and support a team of coordinators and on-site staff. Conduct team briefings, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor progress. Motivate and coach team members to achieve strong performance. Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable working culture.

Client & Stakeholder Management



Serve as the key point of contact for clients during planning and delivery phases. Build strong relationships with internal departments, suppliers, and venue partners. Provide clear communication and updates to all stakeholders.

Process & Improvement



Identify and implement ways to improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety standards. Support the continuous improvement of event delivery processes.

Essential Skills & Experience



Proven leadership experience managing people or teams on-site. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure. Experienced in coordinating logistics, suppliers, or venue operations. Based within commutable distance to Birmingham (daily on-site presence required).

Desirable Skills



Experience with live events, brand activations, or retail fit-outs. Knowledge of stock handling, logistics, or event scheduling. Familiarity with health and safety procedures and operational planning.
