Job Description
Roles and responsibilities
Management of the day-to-day running of the after-school club.
*To ensure safe, stimulating play in a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families in line with Department of Health Minimum Standards
*Contributing to short and medium-term planning for the After school and develop play-based activities appropriate for children aged 4 years - 11 years
*The assessment, monitoring and recording of individual children's development
To help develop the Children's club in terms of reputation and growth.
Essential criteria
*Applicants must be aged 18 and over
*A relevant childcare qualification at QCF level 5 (Diploma in Childcare, Learning and Development (Management) or equivalent.
*Minimum of 2 years' experience of working with children in an early years setting in a paid capacity, in accordance with the Minimum Standards
Desirable criteria
Experience as a Team Leader/ Deputy Leader role
*Safeguarding / Designated Officer training
Experience of observation, planning and record keeping
*First Aid training
*Food hygiene training
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 18.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
Do you have a level 5 in Childcare or equivalent? (required)
