A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join a dedicated children's home supporting young people aged 8-17 with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. About the Role

As Team Leader, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, including deputising when required. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting each shift, ensuring smooth handover, daily logs, and care plan updates. Supervising staff and supporting key work planning, recording, and reporting. Assisting with medicines administration and carrying out medication audits. Helping manage staff rotas, sleep-in duties, and on-call responsibilities. Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing for all children.

What We're Looking For

Must hold (or be working towards) a Level 4 Residential Childcare qualification. Experience working in residential childcare, ideally with SEMH children. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Compassion, reliability, and resilience. Flexibility to work sleep-ins and on-call duties.
