About the Role

We are seeking passionate and experienced

Team Leaders

to join our residential childcare services. Homes provide safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments for children aged 7-17 with

emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD)

.

As a Team Leader, you will support the Registered Manager and lead a team of Residential Support Workers, ensuring children receive consistent care, support, and guidance in a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and supervise staff to deliver excellent therapeutic care. Support care planning, risk assessments, and day-to-day routines. Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, legislation, and internal procedures. Act as a positive role model for young people, promoting resilience, independence, and emotional wellbeing. Contribute to rota management, including sleep-ins and flexible shift coverage. Support children's education, personal growth, and social development.

About You

We are looking for committed professionals who are motivated to make a difference in children's lives.

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

(or equivalent). Minimum 2 years' experience in residential childcare. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and managing EBD. Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
