2 on / 2 off (08:00 start - Sleep-in required)

Pay:

15 per hour + 65 per sleep-in

We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and experienced Team Leader to join our solo placement children's residential home. This is a vital role supporting a young person with complex needs, providing stability, structure, and high-quality care in a nurturing environment.

As Team Leader, you will take a lead role in day-to-day practice, guiding our staff team, ensuring the home runs safely and smoothly, and helping to create a consistent, therapeutic environment.

What You'll Do



Lead, support, and motivate staff during shifts, ensuring high standards of care. Provide consistent, child-centred support to the young person, with a focus on safety, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes. Manage daily routines, paperwork, incident reporting, and care planning. Support with behaviour management strategies and therapeutic approaches. Ensure the home maintains compliance with Ofsted and organisational policies. Take responsibility for the home during your shifts, including sleep-ins.

What We're Looking For:



Minimum of 2 years experience in children's residential care (solo or EBD) Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People / Residential Childcare Strong leadership or senior support worker experience. Demonstrated experience in residential children's care, with a solid understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of this setting. A commitment to trauma-informed, child-centred practice Calm, resilient, and able to work confidently. Excellent communication, decision-making, and safeguarding skills. Passionate about helping young people achieve stability and positive change. Knowledge of Ofsted standards and best practices in residential care for young people. A confident and reliable decision-maker with the ability to step in effectively during the Deputy Manager's absence. Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle essential
