The Role
As a
Team Leader
, you will:
Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Residential Support Workers to deliver outstanding care
Provide day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and supervision to develop staff skills and confidence
Oversee and contribute to the implementation of therapeutic, child-centred care plans
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, regulatory, and organisational standards
Act as a positive role model, building trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
Support the management team with staff development, performance, and training needs
What We're Looking For
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- essential
At least 1 year's experience in a children's residential setting - preferred
Previous supervisory or leadership experience - highly desirable
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Supportive, resilient, and child-centred approach to care
Full UK Driving Licence
