Job overview:

New Day Children's Services LTD are a new and growing business who are seeking Team leaders, to join their team at their Residential Children's Home in the SP1 area.

Available shift patterns are:

24 hour shifts

- 10am until 1030am the following day - sleep in between 12am and 7am

Week 1: Monday. Wednesday and Saturday Week 2: Tuesday, Friday and Sunday Week 3: Thursday
Total of 43.75 Hours per week contracted salary of 31,850 plus sleep in rate of 60 per sleep in additional 6960 per annum - Total 38,810 (Sleep Ins included)

12 Hour shifts

- 8-8, 9-9 or 10-10 dependent on the need of the children

Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Total of 42 hours per week - salary 30,576

Duties:

To provide a safe, warm and supportive home for our children to live in. To participate in activities with the young people and support their hobbies and interests. To ensure that daily documentation is completed for each young person To act as the lead key worker for a young person, ensuring that keywork sessions and paperwork are updated. To have a full understanding of safeguarding procedures and report to external agencies including LADO, MASH and OFSTED as required. To be able to supervise, carry out probationary meetings and debrief adults as required. To hold on call responsibilities.

Requirements

Valid manual driving license required NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare qualified Have at least 12 months experience in a supervisory position. Have at least 2 years of experience working in a residential setting with young people
In line with safer recruitment, there is a requirement for an enhanced DBS check to be completed for this role.
