Team Leader - Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Leigh, Greater Manchester

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: 13.75 per hour + 50 per sleep-in shift

Team Leader

to join an established and supportive children's residential care team in Leigh, Greater Manchester.

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will:

Provide emotional and practical support to children in a therapeutic residential setting. Help establish daily routines and activities such as cooking, sports, music, and downtime. Lead and support a small team of staff, working alongside managers, education professionals, and therapeutic specialists. Promote safety, stability, and positive outcomes for children and young people in care.

Shift Pattern:

Two days on, four days off on a fixed rolling rota. Includes sleep-ins paid at 50 per night. Average of 10-11 working days per month.

What We're Looking For:

Recent experience working in a children's residential home. Some leadership experience or a desire to step up into a Team Leader role. A Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People's Workforce (or willingness to work towards it). Full UK driving licence. Energetic, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable young people.
