2-bed residential home
dedicated to supporting children with
Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

You will be a vital part of the team, helping to create a warm, stable, and positive home environment. Your key focus will be:
Leading by Example:
Fostering a warm, positive environment and actively engaging children in activities, hobbies, and educational pursuits.
Building Independence:
Supporting the development of essential life skills like cooking, cleaning, and personal organisation.
Implementation & Oversight:
Assisting with the implementation of individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
Collaboration:
Building trusting relationships with children, families, and other professionals, and maintaining accurate progress records.
Promoting Development:
Actively supporting the social, emotional, and physical well-being of every child.
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced:
Previous experience working with children and young people in a
residential or care setting
is
essential
.
Compassionate & Resilient:
You are patient, calm under pressure, and deeply committed to supporting children with EBD.
Proactive & Creative:
Enthusiastic about engaging young people through activities.
Committed:
Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to delivering consistent, high-quality care.
Flexible:
Willing to work a rota including fully paid sleep-ins.
Qualified (Desirable):
An
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People
or equivalent is a bonus (full training provided if not held).
Essential Requirements
Genuinely passionate about working with children and young people with EBD.
Full UK Driving Licence
(essential for activities and transport).
Sound understanding of
safeguarding principles
and child welfare.
Basic IT skills and the Right to work in the UK.
