Pay & Hours - Transparent Breakdown



Hourly Rate:

15.00

Base Salary:

29,259 per year

Sleep-ins:

10 per month at 60 each (7,200 per year)

Attendance Bonus:

100/month (~1,200 per year)

Overtime Pay:

1.3x hourly rate (when available)

On-Target Earnings:

~37,659/year

(base + sleep-ins + bonus)*

Shift Pattern:

2 on / 4 off with regular sleep-ins

What You'll Do



? Lead shifts and role model best practice in a small, experienced team


? Ensure safeguarding and welfare of children at all times


? Oversee care planning, key working, and behaviour support


? Coordinate routines, activities, and outings that build confidence and independence


? Keep high-quality records aligned with legislation and Ofsted standards


? Mentor colleagues and support inductions/training


? Liaise with families, social workers, and multi-agency partners


What You'll Bring



? Essential:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent or working towards)*
Experience as a Residential Support Worker or Senior RSW

Strong safeguarding awareness

, resilience, and a calm, child-focused approach
? Note: Level 3 Health & Social Care is not an accepted equivalent for this role.
