A New and Exciting Opportunity in Sudbury
In October 2025, we launched our first supported living service in Sudbury. Following its success, we're now preparing to welcome a second individual into their own bespoke property. We're recruiting a Team Leader to build, guide, and inspire a new support team around this young man ("I") as he transitions into his own home.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new service from the ground up, combining hands-on support with leadership and coordination responsibilities to ensure safe, consistent, and person-centred care delivery.
About "I"
"I" is a bright, active young man who thrives on structure and routine. He enjoys community-based activities and benefits from calm, consistent support. At times, he may experience anxiety or display behaviours that challenge, including verbal or physical aggression or self-injurious behaviour.
The ideal Team Leader will be compassionate, resilient, and confident in maintaining professional boundaries, using positive behaviour support (PBS) to guide "I" toward greater independence and emotional regulation.
Due to the nature of his support needs, the team is predominantly male; however, applications are welcome from all genders.
Key Responsibilities of the Team Leader
Provide strong, visible leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, consistent, high-quality support
Coordinate staff rotas, manage shift coverage, and oversee daily handovers
Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and ongoing mentoring of staff
Support the induction and training of new team members, ensuring understanding of PBS strategies and person-centred principles
Monitor and review support plans, risk assessments, and daily documentation
Work closely with the Registered Manager and PBS Lead to identify improvements and maintain compliance with CQC standards
Model professional conduct and respectful interactions, promoting a positive and inclusive culture
Lead by example through active participation in day-to-day support, fostering trust, safety, and structure for "I"
Promote safeguarding, confidentiality, and dignity at all times
About You

Understanding of Autism, ADHD, or complex behavioural needs
Confident communicator and calm under pressure
Positive role model with excellent teamwork and organisation skills
