The White Lion is a refined Gastro Pub & exemplary Hotel situated within the picturesque Cheshire countryside, in the semi-rural village of Weston. The property is grade II listed building and was originally built in 1652 as a farmhouse. It still retains its original charm and distinctive appearance, full of character adorned with part wooden panelled walls and bay windows. Here you can experience great food & drink and we pride ourselves on exemplary service and outstanding events. With a 17-bed hotel, restaurant that can cater for 80 covers plus a large outdoor garden with dinning and drinking stations, The White Lion is a venue that caters for all!

The Role

We now have an opportunity for a front of house team leader, to join our vibrant and successful team with the opportunity for development and career progression. This role is available due to increase in management and trade.

Duties include but will not be limited to:

Taking orders, Recommendations and looking after customers Record and process all orders and payments accurately into the till system Attend to guests ensuring they feel welcomed & well cared for by providing quality Service Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained Carrying out FOH & Bar duties, as part of the management team, looking after junior members of staff and training where needed
Liaising with the head chef and general manager about customers opinion in the food and beverage choices

Cash up at the end of the night shift (dependant on your shift)

Represent the company as a senior member of the management team

Upskill the junior team, to meet the expectations of the business

Be a senior member on shift during our extensive events offerings

Any other duties as required to fulfil the company needs

About you

A good team player with the ability to handle a faced paced environment

You will need to be passionate about creating a great atmosphere and giving guests the best experience Experienced in a pub / restaurant environment and keen to learn about the business, to progress your career
