About the Role
This is a
full-time position
based on a
40-hour contract
, requiring flexibility to work
5 out of 7 days per week
, including weekends.
Role Overview
As an integral member of the team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and managers to support the day-to-day running of the store. You'll play an active role in identifying operational improvements, driving performance, and enhancing efficiency. This position also includes delivering high-quality customer service and offering supervisory support across both the shop floor and warehouse areas.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Provide strong leadership and consistently deliver excellent customer service
Respond professionally to customer enquiries and resolve complaints
Ensure team members meet company expectations for appearance and conduct
Merchandising
Maintain clear, accurate, and legally compliant product pricing
Conduct daily checks on stock rotation, levels, and proper storage
Training & Development
Assist with onboarding and training new staff members
Promote continued development and ensure timely completion of E-Assessments
Operational Support
Follow all chill chain and food safety protocols
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the store
Ensure accuracy in stock control and inventory processes
Comply with all health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
Support other departments as required
Perform any additional duties necessary to support store operations
Skills & Experience Required
Previous supervisory experience is preferred
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Able to lead and motivate a team in line with company values
