As a Warehouse Team Leader at Walker Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of your assigned accounts and team members. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are consistently met. Collaborating closely with your team and Unit Manager, you will oversee day-to-day warehouse activities and strive for operational excellence.

6:00 - 14:00


Duties & Responsibilities:

Always act in a safe manner, prioritising the safety of yourself and others. Ensure that SLAs and KPIs for your assigned accounts are consistently met. Monitor and support team members to ensure they achieve their targets. Ensure availability of RF Guns and other picking equipment for staff. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Account Managers and Unit Managers. Assist with other business requirements, as necessary. Ensure all SLAs and KPIs for warehouse operations are met. Complete product checks within the warehouse in a timely manner. Ensure all warehouse paperwork is completed accurately and exhibits correct signoffs. Liaise with relevant departments regarding challenges with quality and KPIs. Communicate clearly and concisely with your team to maximise output without compromising safety or quality. Allocate correct workload to your direct reports and plan labour for the following day's workload. Ensure accounts have the correct equipment and packaging to complete workload. Complete HR forms for your direct reports and conduct regular One-to-One meetings. Ensure staff are working to account specific KPI targets. Update Kronos and attendance records daily to ensure accuracy. Address queries from account managers promptly and effectively. Conduct warehouse tours for current or potential/new customers when requested by Senior Management.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Sound understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and warehouse processes. Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and systems. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety and quality standards. * Knowledge of HR processes and documentation is desirable.
