About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Domiciliary Care Team Leader to oversee home-care support across our community. You will be responsible for supervising care staff, managing daily schedules, providing hands-on care where needed, and ensuring service users receive high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and motivate care staff working out in the community
Complete spot checks, supervisions, and support visits
Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and documentation are accurate and up to date
Liaise with families, social workers, and healthcare professionals
Manage rota changes, cover emergencies, and respond to day-to-day operational needs
Take part in our on call rota (payment enhancement for this)
Deliver hands-on care when required
Promote independence, dignity, and safety at all times
About You
Previous experience in domiciliary care is essential
Experience in a senior or supervisory role preferred
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Confident working independently and making decisions
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
