We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Urquhart Castle. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and beverage operations whilst leading and motivating a dedicated team.

To assist the Manager in the daily running of the cafe and act as deputy in their absence Collaborate with the kitchen and FOH team to ensure food and service provision aligns with company standards Ensure compliance with all legislative and government guidelines, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, and COSHH regulations Handle customer enquiries and complaints effectively and courteously, escalating to management when necessary Conduct regular checks on business operations, equipment, maintenance, housekeeping, and other health and safety matters Monitor food and beverage control, including performing stock takes and managing orders Lead, motivate, and develop team members to maintain high standards of service Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure consistent service excellence Contribute to the development of new service ideas and operational improvements Ensure product availability and consistency Complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks to ensure high standards are kept

Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage) Lead by example, always acting in a professional manner Excellent communication skills Responds quickly to drive business through periods of low demand Takes the initiative Excellent time management Supportive / Team player Strong presentation skills Experience in supervising and leading a team Excellent customer service skills
