Resourcing Group are recruiting for reputable grounds maintenance company, based in the beautiful South West of England. They are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join us as a Team Leader. As a leader in our organisation, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the natural beauty of various outdoor spaces, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of grounds maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure the successful completion of all tasks.
  • Coordinate and assign daily work schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of sites to assess the quality of work and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and general upkeep of landscapes and outdoor areas.
  • Maintain and operate equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Liaise with clients to address any concerns, provide updates on project progress, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and development of team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance, including the operation of various landscaping tools and equipment.
  • Previous experience in a team leadership or supervisory role, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of horticulture and landscaping principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work autonomously while also being a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Full UK driving license and a passion for working outdoors.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture or grounds maintenance would be advantageous.
