Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of staff members, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the establishment.
Coordinate staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team performance to optimise productivity.
Assist with training new team members and provide ongoing coaching to improve service quality.
Manage customer interactions professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Support the implementation of organisational policies related to hospitality standards and health & safety protocols.
Collaborate with management on menu planning, stock control, and operational improvements.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
Extensive culinary experience including food preparation and cooking skills.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production.
Experience in team management, leadership roles, or supervisory positions in hospitality settings.
Knowledge of restaurant operations such as serving, barista services, or hotel hospitality is highly desirable.
Previous experience in food service roles such as serving or bar work is advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for candidates who are organised leaders with a passion for hospitality excellence and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.
