to step into a

Team Leader

role within our workshop.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work effectively with both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail, as well as the physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assemble various structures. If you are passionate about woodworking and possess the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team in the production of wooden beds Carry out high-quality joinery work alongside your team Plan daily tasks and ensure jobs are completed on time Maintain high quality and consistency across all products Support training and development of team members Communicate stock and material needs to management Keep a safe, tidy, and efficient workshop environment Report progress, delays, or issues to the Production Manager Identify and suggest process improvements

What We're Looking For

Skilled bench joiner or woodworker with hands-on experience Proven track record in a manufacturing or production workshop Confident leading a small team and working collaboratively Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to read plans and work to specifications Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused Good communication and leadership skills

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience producing beds or similar furniture Previous team leader or supervisor experience Knowledge of lean or efficient workshop practices Forklift licence or machinery training
