29,600 plus additional 50 per sleep in (approx. 10 per month)

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced
Team Leader
to join our dedicated children's residential care team.
You'll play a key role in leading and supporting care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to young people with
emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
, helping them achieve positive and lasting outcomes.
The role involves a balance of
hands-on care
,
leadership
, and
administrative duties
, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home and the well-being of the children.
Key Responsibilities
Support the
Registered Manager
and
Deputy Manager
in managing the daily operations of the home.
Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of Support Workers.
Ensure care plans and risk assessments are up to date and implemented effectively.
Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for young people.
Support and guide staff in maintaining high standards of care and record-keeping.
Ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed and concerns are reported promptly.
Encourage young people's participation in education, recreation, and personal development.
Assist with rota planning, shift management, and staff training.
Requirements
Previous experience working in a
children's residential setting
is essential.
Understanding of
Ofsted regulations
, safeguarding, and behaviour management.
Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (Residential Pathway) required.
Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
