Duties
Lead and supervise a team of kitchen staff, servers, and baristas to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and efficiency
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Coordinate food production schedules and manage inventory levels effectively
Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance
Monitor service delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive hospitality
Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks, and resolve any operational issues promptly
Uphold organisational policies related to health & safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards
Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Experience working in hotel or barista settings is advantageous
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is desirable
Familiarity with restaurant management systems and inventory control is preferred
