We are recruiting a

Team Leader

to be part of the Rapport team, based at our client's office inthe heart of London City. You will be part of an exciting, diverse team that supports our client: insurance and brokerage firm, where excellence and passion are the norm every single day.



Support and assist the Deputy and Guest Service Manager by ensuring that all the needs of the client are met and exceeded in a professional and friendly manner. Support, manage and motivate the reception staff.

Type of Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday, on a shift rota basis between 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:



Reception Operations:

Oversee daily operations across all reception desks, ensuring consistent adherence to procedures, service levels, and policies such as uniform and clear desk standards.

Team Leadership & Development:

Support the Deputy and Guest Service Manager with staffing and business needs while leading team communication, training, onboarding, monthly 1:1s, and appraisals.

Client Care & Communication:

Professionally manage client enquiries across all channels, stay informed on updates, and ensure clear, accurate communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Administrative & Shift Duties:

Handle reception tasks, maintain inboxes, meet deadlines, manage shift handovers, and ensure all actions are carried out with confidentiality and attention to detail.

Workplace & Safety Management:

Maintain a tidy and functional reception area, report and follow up on maintenance or safety issues, and collaborate closely with the security team.

Compliance & Presentation:

Uphold professional presentation standards, ensure policy and SOP compliance, assist with access control and bookings, and always maintain confidentiality.
