The team leader is responsible for delivering operational excellence, team development and the development of client relationships across the site. The key ingredient to success in this role is the ability to provide strong leadership whilst also ensuring excellent relationships with local client contacts. A self-driven and self-sufficient candidate is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations
Manage the 'day to day' operations of appropriate area
Work in conjunction with site team to deliver operational objectives
Work with the other regional team leaders to achieve a consistent national approach
Ensure existing services perform/meet with SLA's
Develop an excellent understanding of the customer business and industry sector
To achieve service enhancements in line with overall strategy
Customer
Develop excellent relationships with customer contacts and key decision makers in the firm
Develop an excellent understanding of the customer business and industry sector
Keep up to date with customer organisation structures and ensure new contacts are identified
Responsible for the resolution of significant complaints/issues raised by customer
Add focus and value to existing services offered
Obtain competitor intelligence as required
Involved in strategic decisions within the area of responsibility
Provide appropriate high-level data for monthly reporting and support the London Management team in strategic account reviews
People
Coach and develop direct reports to maximise their potential
Make recommendations for team structure, roles and responsibilities
Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and leading-edge concepts as appropriate
Maintain regular contact with peer group as appropriate
Manage the overall effectiveness of the wider team's performance
Champion the Williams Lea culture by living the values and leading by example
Act as a role model by living the divisional minimum standards and active participation in the divisional boards
Take responsibility for succession planning for all employees
Recruit and select key personnel as appropriate
Management and organisation of all contractual arrangements

An ability to identify, write and execute business cases where appropriate through cost benefit analysis
Operate and monitor necessary financial controls
Provide monthly MI and commentary for the MIR and strategic review documents for the customer
Network and actively target key customers to secure additional business leads
To manage permanent and temporary staff costs and keep these within budget
