Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee operations within our care home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for senior care, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of support and care. This role involves supervising staff, implementing care plans, administration of medication and management of the medication and fostering a positive environment for both residents and team members.

Duties

Supervise and support care staff in delivering exceptional care to residents. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with residents and their families. Administer all medications as prescribed and manage the ordering of stock as necessary. Work with the MDT to ensure all aspects of an individuals care are met and maintained. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for all. Provide training and mentorship to new staff members, promoting professional development within the team. Foster effective communication among team members, residents, and external stakeholders. Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided within the home.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care home or similar environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with residents, families, and staff. Knowledge of care plans and best practices in senior care. Proficient IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
