Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards Lead, train, and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative environment Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with management to implement training programmes for new staff members

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development Previous experience in kitchen or barista roles is advantageous Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service experiences
