An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Lead Pharmacy Assistant to join our excellent Pharmacy Team's on the Hammersmith hospital site, which are part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
You will be part of the busy Pharmacy Dispensary and Distribution Team, providing a high quality, patient focused robotic dispensing and stock management service to the wards and clinics. You will also provide support to pharmacy stores.

To assist in the provision of a high quality, flexible and responsive dispensing service to patients of the Trust, associated hospitals including the dispensing of prescriptions and supply of stock.
To co-ordinate the dispensing of prescriptions in the appropriate time frame i.e. message pool prescriptions, OPAT, clinical trials and posted/couriered medication.
To assist with the training of new staff with the various applications used in the dispensary i.e. Prescription tracker and CMM (Pharmacy labelling and stock maintenance computer system.
To assist with the auditing of dispensary and distribution services.
To co-ordinate the stock maintenance of sundries and personal protective equipment for the dispensary and offices.
To assist with the receipt of medication into the dispensary or store, including receipt on the pharmacy computer system (ODELIV).
