Sasha's Kitchen, Sasha's Lounge, and SCK Ltd (Takeaway) deliver authentic Jamaican dining experiences across multiple venues in Dagenham. We pride ourselves on quality food, excellent service, and vibrant hospitality. We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee daily operations and maintain high standards across all three outlets.
The Role
The Team Leader will manage FOH, BOH, and bar operations while ensuring food quality, excellent service, and smooth daily running. This role includes supervising staff, handling bookings, and monitoring food quality across the restaurant, lounge, and takeaway.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead staff across FOH, BOH, and bar.
Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain company standards.
Manage bookings and enquiries across
phone, email, social media, and online platforms
.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and licensing requirements.
Oversee bar operations and stock management.
Handle escalated customer complaints and queries.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver consistent service.
Conduct stock checks and manage supplier orders.
Act as keyholder for opening/closing sites.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years management/supervisory experience in hospitality.
Strong knowledge of Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine.
Proven bar and restaurant management experience.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Confident in managing bookings and customer queries across multiple platforms.
Food Hygiene Level 2 (minimum) - Level 3 preferred.
Personal Alcohol Licence Holder desirable.
Flexible to work across Sasha's Kitchen, Sasha's Lounge, and SCK Ltd.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.53-14.92 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
