Little Angels Nursery and Out of School Club is based in the Lowerhouses area of Huddersfield and is part of a small chain of highly rated nurseries.

The location is HD5 8JZ, with easy access to public transport. This is a great opportunity to be part of a highly valued team within a professionally run establishment which places an emphasis on continuous staff development and training.

Responsibilities and Duties

Providing high standards in teaching and play experiences Manage a room and a group of staff to ensure everyone's needs are met Report to the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager Ensure there is a fun, happy and stimulating environment Promote positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues Maintaining accurate and effective records Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Inclusion

Qualifications and Skills of Nursery Senior Practitioner / Room Leader

A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare alongside two year's relevant and recent work experience Up to date working knowledge of EYFS statutory framework Enthusiasm, self-motivation and commitment combined with a real passion to provide outstanding childcare Excellent communicator and team player Ideally trained in Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety, Safeguarding/Child Protection, Behavioural Management, Additional Education Needs Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check (DBS) and full pre-employment checks
