Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the daily activities of the culinary team, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and standards.
Provide guidance and support to team members in food preparation and production processes.
Assist in training new staff on culinary techniques, food safety protocols, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with management to develop menus and ensure timely execution of food service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Foster a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork and open communication among staff members.
Address any operational issues promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Skills
Proven experience in culinary arts or food production, with a strong understanding of food safety practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team effectively.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Knowledge of bartending is an advantage but not essential.
Ability to work collaboratively with others while also being able to take initiative when required.
