JOB OVERVIEW:
The
Team Manager, Distribution Centre
will lead a dynamic and results driven team of 60+, supported by Team Supervisors, within our multi-functional 120,000sqft distribution centre.
This role is a crucial part of leadership team - working in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, supporting, and empowering the team supervisors and the wider team while fostering a culture of communication, engagement, and performance. As the

, you will ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement across all aspects of the distribution process.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
The
Team Manager, Distribution Centre
will lead and support Team Supervisors by setting clear goals, fostering a collaborative culture, and driving continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Operational Performance & Execution
:
Accountable for operational KPIs and service levels, overseeing daily workflows, solving problems, and driving process improvements while ensuring quality standards and effective budget management.
Communication & Culture
Foster a high-performance, values-driven culture by promoting open communication, cross-team collaboration, and empathetic leadership, while encouraging alignment with core company principles such as integrity, humility, and teamwork.
Training & Performance Management
Mentor and coach team members on safety, cost-efficiency, and quality standards, while driving performance through structured reviews, recognition, and KPI tracking to build a high-performing, engaged team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in a similar role within a Distribution / Warehousing environment.
Strong leadership grounded in empathy, humility, and accountability.
Strong understanding of warehousing operations and performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, with problem solving abilities.
Working knowledge of SAP or similar experience of other Warehouse Management Systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Organised, proactive, and comfortable leading through change.
Knowledge of LEAN principles and Six Sigma methodologies will be an advantage.
