JOB OVERVIEW:



The

Team Supervisor, Distribution Centre

will directly oversee team members within our multi-functional 120,000 sq. ft. distribution centre. Responsible for providing hands on supervision of the front-line teams, ensuring all daily goals are achieved in line within our safety and quality standards. The

Team Supervisor, Distribution Centre

, will create a positive productive working environment, working in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, supporting, and empowering the team while fostering a culture of communication, engagement, and performance.

Key Responsibilities



Team Leadership & Development



As the

Team Supervisor, Distribution Centre

, supervise and motivate front-line teams by setting clear goals, providing consistent support, and encouraging ownership, while collaborating across departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Operational Performance & Execution

:

Lead and support front-line teams to meet operational KPIs and service levels by managing daily workflows, resolving issues, delegating tasks effectively, and maintaining a safe, organised work environment.

Communication & Culture



Promote open, two-way communication and cross-team collaboration, actively listening and responding with empathy, while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in humility, integrity, and shared company values.

Training & Performance Management



Coach front-line teams with a hands-on approach, ensuring performance reviews, absence management, and development plans are completed to standard, while driving a high-performance culture through KPI tracking, feedback, and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience:



Proven experience in a similar role within a Distribution / Warehousing environment. Strong leadership grounded in empathy, humility, and accountability. Strong understanding of warehousing operations and performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to support and guide and performance manage team members effectively. Working knowledge of SAP or similar experience of other Warehouse Management Systems Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Organised, proactive, and comfortable leading through change. Knowledge of LEAN principles and Six Sigma methodologies will be an advantage.
