As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Learning Disability Team. You will ensure that our services are delivered effectively and efficiently, meeting the needs and outcomes of our customers and their carers and adhering to statutory duties and all relevant policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of social workers and social care practitioners, providing supervision, annual appraisal, guidance and support.
The provision of management of casework relating to Adult Social Care, including handling complex cases and providing expert advice and support to team members involving adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. This will encompass Adult Safeguarding, Transition, Transforming Care, Continuing Healthcare, and customers subject to Section 117.
Manage and supervise all interventions by Social Workers and Social Care Practitioners through caseload management, supporting and developing staff, and managing performance.
Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring value for money.
Foster strong partnerships with other agencies, service providers, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
