We have an exciting opportunity for a manager to join the Sensory Impairment Team within adult social care at Croydon Council. This role will cover the operational management and supervision of the service, ensuring the effective provision of assessments of need, rehabilitation and prevention services, specialist equipment and other social care services.
As this post manages workers with specialisms within sensory impairment, (visual impairment, deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind/dual sensory loss). It is essential the post holder can demonstrate strong knowledge of and extensive work experience in these areas. This is an exciting time to join the Sensory Impairment Team as we continue to develop to meet a growing demand for services. Transformational leadership skills are required to ensure navigation of the evolution of this service in line with the needs of those who use it.
